Palate Cancer

This cancer is commonly seen in smokers. Normally it is ulcerative and rarely exophytic. It is often delayed in diagnosis since the cancer of palate ulcerates the palate reaches sinuses and quickly spreads to the orbit. Hence many a times the surgery necessitates removal of palate, a part or whole of nose and eyes. Below are some photos of this cancer and a photo of post surgical patient.
